Today

Lol so don't make fun of my title, I didn't know what else to name it..

I just got back from Parkston for a basketball game. We won by quite a bit but the car ride there and back was definately the best part. I got about the whole story line to the movie 7 pounds. Apparently it is really sad lol and i want to see it. On the way back we were just like telling funny stories and laughing the whole time but it was hilarious. I think all of us about peed our pants at one time or another.

Like 2 days ago, ish...I finished Twilight! It was sooo good!! I want to watch the movie again now because the book was really good and so was the movie and I just love Twilight right now lol. So I started on the second book, New Moon but I haven't gotten very far on it yet, unfortunately.

Tomorrow is New Year's Eve, holy crap Christmas break went fast. I still don't know what I'm doing for New Year's yet, maybe I should figure that out lol. But I do know that I don't want to start school again. I can't say that I'm looking forward to that.

Christmas Break

So I obviously survived through semester tests, hardly though, and I actually did pretty good on them so that's a plus. But so far Christmas break has been pretty boring. My sister Jenna came home from California and left again already for Tempe, Arizona for Varsity Rowing training camp, sounds like fun right lol. Did the whole 2 family Christmases, well actually kind of 3 but only 2 big meals, thank god! I don't think I would be able to make it down the court for basketball practice if I would've had one more big feast. I got some pretty good presents though, I'm psyched about that. I got a bunch of gift cards and money so I can't wait to go shopping!!!

Lately I've been really bored. Not a whole lot to do anymore so I take a nap, eat, read my Twilight book or watch tv, these occur in any order throughout my day. I only have 40 pages left of Twilight and i got the 2nd book for Christmas so I'm excited to start reading it =D!

I've been having either basketball practices or games a lot that try to keep me occupied. The early morning practices really get to me though haha. Our next game is next Tuesday in Parkston, I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not though...

Just a few more weeks...

Just a few more weeks until Christmas break, thank god! But that also means just a few more weeks until semester tests :(.

I just got back from State FFA Leadership CDE's in Pierre. I didn't place in anything but my friends from west central that were on Ag. Communications got first place!!! That means they are going to nationals! I am so excited for them!! I thought they would win it but you never know.

We had basketball practice today after school just like any other non-game school day. But today was worse for me than most of our other practices. You see, last year in track I did something to my hip flexers and they hurt when i run so they started hurting as soon as basketball started again and now today the outside of my hip started hurting really bad on top of my hip flexers so it was just really bad b/c i like couldnt run.

Also there is just a lot of other drama going on in my life right now and I hate all of it....

Wow!

Wow! I just realized I haven't posted on here in forever. I guess i just havent had time with school, FFA and hunting. I'll do my best to summarize the past about month in this one post lol.

WEll...National Convention came and went faster than i would have hoped but it was still a blast. Most of the time I hung out with the kids that were there from West Central. We went to High School Musical 3 the day it came out (i loved it, you should go see it if you havent) and we all had so many inside jokes that are still funny. It sucked when convention was over though; not just leaving all of my West Central friends but leaving Indianapolis. Even when you are there for only a few days, it starts to feel like home. O yeah, and I saw Taylor Swift when i was there...frickin amazing!! I recorded some of it too so I will have to try posting videos otherwise most of them are on my facebook page.

After we got home from convention, I had a volleyball game or two and then it was halloween! We had a dance at school this year and it was kinda gay at first but it wasnt too bad after a while. I brought one of my friends from west central and all of my girl friends were like is he your boyfriend and im like no we're just friends...you have no idea how many times i got asked that.

Then we had Districts for volleyball and we were ranked second so we got a bye for the first round. But in our game we played Hurley. We always hate playing Hurley because they always play their best against us and it is always a really hard game. But anyways, the first game we won by quite a bit but then they won the next 3. Our season was done. It sucked so bad especially since we lost to Hurley it was like 27 times worse than just the season being over. But we will beat them next year.

Then I had an ortho appointment, which i know isnt that big of deal but...it happened needless to say. And it was my first appointment since about the beginning of August :S oops...but i got chains on the top and the bottom and it just really sucked. That night, we had our district CDEs for FFA and I was in Ag. Broadcasting, Job Interview, Marketing Plan and Sr. Parli. Pro (i wasnt supposed to be in it but i got forced at the last minute). So that was a really busy night and then game time for the awards...Ag. Broadcasting - 4th place, 3rd place: ALI RIST FROM VIBORG!!!! That meant that i was going to state leadership!!! My marketing plan team got second so we are also going to state for that. Then on the way home it was like freezing rain and there was ice on the road, obviously since it was freezing rain DUH!! lol.

And i think that is finally about it for now...wow that took forever considering i kept getting distracted by other things lol. Now hopefully I dont get so far behind again. =D

:'( Homecoming sucks...

So tonight we had a volleyball game and we played Canistota. Well just yesterday in practice our coach filled our last two varsity spots. So tonight during the game, i was getting ready to go back and serve when I see one of the girls that just made varsity yesterday subbing in. She is also a setter so I knew she was coming in for me. So she played setter and I went back in for front line but I was still pissed. That is my spot!! Or it was my spot. I could hardly keep it together throughout the rest of the match but I somehow did. It still makes me about cry just thinking about it now. I mean how can she take my spot after being a varsity for one day?!? I wasn't the only one upset about it either. Two of the other girls that had been on varsity since the beginning of the season were pissed because they hardly get to play the way it is and at her first varsity game, SHE PLAYS!! Whatever I guess...

Dumb Girls...

So one of my best friends is kind of a drama queen. Everyone will be able to tell that something is wrong with her but if I or anyone else asks her what's wrong she'll say nothing. And it just really pisses me off because then she's all pissy all day and won't tell anyone why.

So today she was being like this and one of my other best friends and I were getting really mad at her. And she was trying to ask me for help on our Spanish assignment and she was asking me on like every question and I was getting really pissed off because I couldn't get anything else done. So I started to kind of snip at her and she freaked out. And does she learn...no! She asks me on another question and I'm like ,"I'm not even working on it anymore" and she freaked about that too. So I was e-mailing my other friend and she said that she was just going to tell her off later and tell her that she needs to stop because she does this all the time and it really makes us mad. So we just started ignoring her and not letting it get to us.

So anyways...our volleyball team has our second game of our Confrence Tournament tonight and I am really excited! But, I am partners for warm-ups with her but whatever. I'm not gonna let her grumpy attitude get to me because I actually play and she doesn't really but o well.

24 Days and counting!!

National FFA Convention is one of my top favorite times of the year and it just so happens to be coming up in 24 days! We are taking 4 people from my school and 2 of the other 3 are pretty good friends of mine. The other one is I guess what you would call a "dork" and she talks all the time but she really isn't that bad as long as she's not talking...haha. All 4 of us are in the same Ag. class and we have a count-down on the board. We are all super excited for National Convention! It might be because we are going to see Taylor Swift in concert or it maybe going to the Indianpolis Zoo or seeing the new Indianapolis Colts stadium (GO COLTS!!) for some people but for me it is definately going to be seeing and hanging out with some of my FFA friends from other schools (along with Taylor Swift, they are both pretty close). Last year when we were there, we stayed in the Crowne Plaza (I think that's the name, if not it's something close) and it had an actual train in it. They had turned the train cars into hotel rooms that you could actually stay in! It was pretty awesome but this year we are staying at the Mariott which is connected to the convention center where most of the stuff is. I am also really excited to go in Lucas Oil Stadium! The Colts are my favorite NFL team and I watch their games almost every week. As you can probably tell, I cannot wait for the 24 days to be up....still counting!

Volleyball

So last year, as a freshman, I made our varsity team for volleyball, didnt really play a whole lot but you know...i made it. So this year, volleyball started and was getting about to that time when the coaches anounce who has made varsity, and i kinda figured I had made it you know, because I made it last year, but I still wasn't so sure. So during practice one day, our coach annouced it and I had made it, but later on in that practice was the best part...I WAS GOING TO BE STARTING!! I was so excited! We started having games and I was starting and playing the entire match and getting quite a few assist sets. Last friday during school, I looked in the paper to see the stats from last nights game when we play Bon Homme. I had 21 assist sets (now this was more than I had ever gotten before and more than our other senior setter had)! Now we have had about 5 regular games and played in a tournament on saturday and I'm starting to get along with the rest of the team better because all of them are at least a year older than I am. Next year, I am hoping that I will be the first setter (this year I am the second setter) because our first setter this year is a senior and will be graduating. Needless to say I am loving volleyball this year!
